
BALTIMORE, October 27, 2021 — Featured among other industry innovators, the American Association for Respiratory Care highlighted from the article emocha co-authored in the Journal of Asthma. In partnership with LifeBridge Health in Maryland, emocha’s Digital Medication Adherence Program saw great results in medication adherence among children. emocha’s Digital Medication Adherence Program uses video technology and scalable human engagement to empower people to take their medication correctly. From this study alone, we saw asthma inhaler technique errors decrease during the first week of the program – going from 80% to under 20% in four weeks. Eighty percent of the children who were engaged in the program also used their inhalers every day.
